If you had plans to become more stylish in 2020, express your confidence through new outfits and grow into the best version of yourself, we know this year has derailed those plans in more ways than one. Rather than canceling your ‘Vogue’ plans, the disruptive arrival of the pandemic has prompted so many of us to up our fashion game in a whole new way.

Whether you’re going to the kitchen, to the grocery store or getting ready for your next Instagram picture, somehow the intrinsic and unstoppable desire of wearing a blanket disappears and suddenly, you’re wearing something far more fab.

With Instagram being the place we turn to for style tips and tricks and being unable to physically see outfits in the flesh, let me introduce you to the accounts who’ve inspired some iso ‘fits.

Her Instagram feed screams elegance and confidence, and oversized blazers are a recurring, dominant, and powerful staple in her wardrobe.

Something else that almost never misses? Whether you are indoor, trying to mask your unwillingness to participate to that Zoom meeting or getting some fresh air, protecting your eyes from the sunlight, the glasses are a necessity. Classy black, lime, pink and lavender are the colours she leans most on and I’m loving it.

FINE, RUB IT IN COLIN @stolincokes

One sentence to describe these outfits? Work from home, but make it fashion.

We understand that blazers can’t be worn 24/7, so if you’re looking to wear something more casual while writing that ‘hope everything is okay during these strange and uncertain times’ e-mail, look to recreate the outfits presented by @wfhfits.

Although the outfits are unusual, they all offer comfort in their own way. Most of them striking natural and relaxed poses, simply captured with a mirror selfie, makes me feel like kicking back, drinking chocolate milk tea and dream about my post-pandemic plans.

@misstiataylor_

Tia Taylor is an American business woman and digital creator based in Milan who knows how to count money and how to do it with the right outfit.

After spending countless pennies on my own clothes that will never be worn, the thing I needed was a lesson on how to restyle my old and new pieces. This is exactly what Tia Taylor does for me, and the rest of her followers.

I’m still learning these new tricks, but its all in the ability to use the same pair of shorts, jeans or shoes to make a whole new outfit. Look good and save money? Yes please.

@abkdonatella

The quiet, calm and peaceful aesthetic of her feed is not just extremely pleasing to look at, but her sophisticated and glamorous outfits are calling me to recreate them. Her outfits are mostly monochromatic, all-white, all-black or all-beige, sometimes combining different colours into the mix.

Her looks encourage me to try some elegant monochromatic looks, especially if you are (like me) still learning how to combine the rainbow coloured clothes into your wardrobe.

Her polychromatic Instagram feed is a reminiscent of a flowery meadow, every outfit enriched by corresponding accessory. Whether it’s a pair of pink Converse, a lilac bucket hat or a green bag. I admire the extreme attention to detail Maxine has for each of her outfits, and her posts.

The colour combination in her images sparks such interest and joy. While working from home I’d love to feel motivated, look my best and play with colours in the way that Maxine does.

@eaststreetwear_

Because isolation is not a permanent state, @eaststreetwear continues to keep us updated on our favourite celebrities and influencers outdoor outfits. Currently we’re loving a street-style characterised by tight crop tops, large sweatpants, light blue jeans, minidresses and skirts.

There is a constant balance of casualty and finesse on their feed that gives me inspiration for what I plan to wear at a last-minute group dinner, at my best-friend’s birthday party and on a flight to the south of Italy post lockdown.
